Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 2026 · RSF Global LLC, Detroit, Michigan
1. Who we are and scope
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information RSF Global LLC (“RSF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operating as ResidentialSteelFraming.com, collects through residentialsteelframing.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors, plan buyers, and anyone who contacts us through the Site. It does not apply to third-party sites we link to. Your use of the Site is also subject to our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a project brief, plan inquiry, quote request, or contact form, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, project location or lot, project type and size, budget, and stage. If you buy a Plan Set or other product on the Site, we also collect your billing and delivery details and your order history. Card payments are handled by our payment processor, and we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address, and website you enter, along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our providers collect standard usage data, such as pages visited, time on site, referral source, device and browser type, and IP address, using cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- respond to your inquiry, route your project brief to the right person on our team, and follow up about your project;
- prepare quotes, process and deliver orders, and provide Plan Sets and support;
- send occasional emails about your project or order, which you can opt out of at any time by replying or using the unsubscribe link;
- understand how the Site is used and improve it;
- protect the Site and our business against spam, fraud, and abuse; and
- meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing and service providers
We share personal information only with providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed for that purpose. These providers include our website host, our CRM and form provider (GoHighLevel), our payment processor (Stripe), Google Analytics for usage analytics, and Google reCAPTCHA and comment spam detection for abuse prevention. Each operates under its own privacy policy: Google, Stripe, and GoHighLevel.
If you ask us to quote or engineer a project, we may share the project details you gave us with the engineers, suppliers, or builders who help us prepare it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site and checkout working, remember your preferences (including your comment details if you opt in), measure how visitors use the Site through Google Analytics, and help protect forms from spam. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you do, some parts of the Site, such as checkout, may not work properly.
6. Data retention
We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as there is an active or potential business relationship, and we keep order, tax, and accounting records for as long as the law requires. Comments and their metadata are kept until they are deleted. If you would like your information removed, email us and we will delete it within 30 days, except for records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to send you an exported copy of it. You can opt out of marketing or follow-up emails at any time by replying to any email or using the unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, including California and other states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity first.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, and we choose service providers with security practices of their own. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites, such as suppliers, lenders, and permitting resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
