1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using residentialsteelframing.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the Site. In these terms, “RSF,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean RSF Global LLC, which operates the Site as ResidentialSteelFraming.com.

2. About the Site

The Site is an informational and marketing website for RSF, which offers pre-designed home plans built around a panelized cold-formed steel framing system. Information on the Site, including plan details, square footage, specifications, timelines, and pricing, is provided for general guidance. It does not constitute an engineering opinion, an architectural opinion, a quote, or a binding offer. Any project scope, pricing, and engineering deliverables are governed by a separate written agreement.

3. Submissions and inquiries

When you submit a project brief, plan inquiry, or contact form, you agree to provide accurate information and confirm you have the authority to share it, including that you own or control any lot or project you describe. Submitting an inquiry does not create a contract or a commitment by RSF to provide plans, materials, or services. We will use your submission as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Home plans and drawing sets

Plans, drawings, and related documents that RSF sells or provides (each a “Plan Set”) are licensed, not sold. When you purchase a Plan Set, RSF grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it to build one home at one site, unless your written agreement with RSF says otherwise. You may not resell, share, republish, or distribute a Plan Set, or use it to build additional homes, without our written permission.

RSF keeps all ownership of the Plan Sets and of the framing system, details, and layouts they show. Changes made by you or a third party do not transfer ownership to you. Payment terms, delivery format, and any revision or refund policy are stated at checkout or in your written agreement. Plan conversions and custom engineering are quoted separately and governed by their own written agreement.

5. Engineering, code compliance, and local approval

RSF’s stock Plan Sets and the content on the Site are not site-specific and are not sealed for your jurisdiction. Before construction, you are responsible for:

  • having the plans and structural design reviewed, adapted, and sealed by a licensed engineer or architect wherever your jurisdiction requires it;
  • confirming compliance with local building codes, zoning, and site conditions, including wind, snow, seismic, and soil requirements;
  • obtaining all permits and inspections; and
  • using properly licensed contractors and installers.

Nothing on the Site replaces the judgment of licensed professionals or the requirements of your local authority having jurisdiction. The Site does not provide real estate brokerage, legal, tax, or financial advice.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, floor plans, drawings, diagrams, renderings, and the RSF and ResidentialSteelFraming.com names and marks, is owned by RSF Global LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share the content for personal, non-commercial reference, but you may not copy, reproduce, or republish it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

7. No warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work to keep information accurate and current, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any content, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Specifications, dimensions, prices, and figures shown are illustrative and subject to change. Any warranty on a Plan Set, kit, or service applies only if it is stated in a separate written agreement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RSF Global LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it. This includes costs arising from building, permitting, or engineering decisions made in reliance on the Site. Your use of the Site is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services, such as suppliers, lenders, and engineering or permitting resources, that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted here with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
